The threat of Global Warming has forced exotic Automobiles to look for different ways to increase efficiency. New experiments are being done like Hybrid and other economical ways but Lamborghini reduced its weight to increase the efficiency.
Lamborghini’s Director of Research and development Mr. Maurizio Reggiani expressed his views about this move as the Rule of 50:50. Which means that the team of Lamborghini’s developers is told to reduce 50 KG of weight. And increase 50 BHP. The Example of this rule unveiled at the Geneva auto show. New Lamborghini comes with bigger rear wing and more carbon fiber around the body.
Lamborghini used computer-controlled electromagnetic technology dampers. These worked well in Chevrolet of Corvette hopefully it will work similarly in Aventador. Lamborghini team had to work hard to lose that 50KG load. Because the suspensions add lots of weight. So the target was achieved by including carbon fiber elements and interior leather entreating replaced with a new material named Alcantara.
The 6.5L V-12 produced 750 BHP and 509 Pound feet of torque. And it can go from zero to 62mph in 2.8 Seconds a tenth second faster than the Aventador LP 700-4. And reach a top speed of 217 mph.
